Luta
Luta – um gênero de videogames em que simula-se combate corpo a corpo em um espaço limitado. O número de personagens em uma luta é pequeno, e o local de combate é chamado de "arena". Ao contrário do gênero "vença a todos", nas lutas o processo de jogo é voltado para a competição, e não para a colaboração entre os jogadores e a cooperação de suas ações. Na maioria das vezes, a luta é um contra um, mesmo em lutas em equipe. Neste segundo caso, os personagens se substituem conforme o desejo do jogador ou no momento do nocaute.
