In the village of Myshkovitsy, a simple request turns into a captivating story full of drama and unrequited love in the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Players will have to delve into the tangled fate of a missing girl and determine for themselves how this touching story will end. In this guide, we will detail how to successfully complete this quest and uncover all its secrets.
In the village of Myshkovitsy, while exploring the Kuttenberg region, find the forge and talk to Martha, the blacksmith's wife. She will ask you to bring horseshoes since her husband refuses to fulfill the order for foreigners. Agreeing to help will activate the quest.
If you already have two sets of any horseshoes, you can give them to Martha right away. Otherwise, you can forge the horseshoes directly at the forge — Martha will allow you to use the workshop. To get the materials for free, you will need to successfully pass a persuasion check by negotiating with the blacksmith. After this, Martha will ask you to take the horseshoes to Viktorika, hinting where you can find her.
Exit through the main gate of the forge and head to the second house on the right, crossing the stream. In the yard, you will see a porch on the right side, where traces of blood are visible, and an open door to the hut. Entering inside will start the next stage of the quest.
Enter the hut and open the first door on the left. You will be presented with a bedroom where you will notice a pool of blood on the floor and a bloody knife.
Return to Martha at the forge and tell her what you discovered. She will reveal that Viktorika was widowed early — her husband died of illness. The villagers are trying to take care of her. Martha will also mention that Viktorika often brings goods to sell to the soldiers in Sigismund's camp. If you successfully pass a check, Martha will add that the farmhand Kuba got angry when Viktorika rejected his gift.
In the local tavern, find a man in red clothing — that's Kuba. Ask him about the missing girl. In response, he will start speaking rudely about the girl, and if you continue to insist, it will lead to a scuffle. After a few blows, the peasant will give up and confess that Viktorika was seen in the woods on a date with a soldier from the camp.
Head to Sigismund's camp. At the entrance, explain to the guard that you have brought horseshoes for the camp's needs, and you will be allowed inside. Ask the first soldier you see about Viktorika, and he will suggest that you talk to the local blacksmith. Follow the main road, keeping to the right side, to find him. The blacksmith, after hearing your question, will direct you to the infirmary, where you need to find a soldier nicknamed Black.
The infirmary is located to the left of the entrance to the main tent. Enter inside and head to the second tent on the right — in the right corner on a cot, you will find a soldier named Black.
Black complains of excruciating stomach pain, likely caused by indigestion. Offer him a "Stomach Remedy" — it should ease his suffering. If you successfully pass a persuasion check, you won't have to wait for the remedy to take effect: the soldier will immediately feel relief and be ready to talk.
Black will share the story of his relationship with Viktorika. He will tell you that he was close with her but recently decided to end the relationship, citing that the life of a soldier leaves no room for family ties. Their meetings took place in the forest east of the camp, and now he asks you to tell the girl that he no longer wants to see her, and in rather harsh terms. But if you can persuade him to show nobility and take Viktorika with him to the camp to assist him in service, he will agree, but only if you pass the persuasion check.
Leave the camp through the eastern gate and head into the forest, following the marker on the map. Continue until you hear a woman's singing — this is a sign that Viktorika is nearby. Soon you will find her sitting on a stump by a birch tree.
Viktorika will share her story: she was engaged in delivering goods for the needs of the camp, where she met a soldier nicknamed Black. Feelings flared between them, and their relationship became so close that she is now expecting a child from him. However, rumors have spread in the village that she earns money in the camp through illicit love. Thus, a tragic picture unfolds before us: a girl who recently lost her husband tried to earn an honest living through trade but fell in love with a soldier who abandoned her in a difficult situation. Now her reputation in the village is ruined, and she is in despair. It is in your hands to decide how her future will unfold.
Several possible paths open up for Viktorika:
The last two options will only become available if you successfully pass the persuasion check. In any case, it is impossible to predict exactly how the girl's fate will unfold. However, you can be the one to guide her life in a better direction. You will not receive any material reward for this quest, but you will become part of a deep and touching story that reminds us how difficult it can be to make the right choice in challenging life circumstances.
You can search for Viktorika immediately after starting the quest. The girl will ask you to bring Black to her, hoping to restore their relationship. However, after hearing his refusal, you will need to return to Viktorika and make a decision that will determine her future.
