Twinsen's Odyssey — action adventure with quest elements. The graphic component is inherited from the previous part. Players also view the world from an isometric perspective with 3D objects. In the game, the player can freely explore the game world, which includes the hero’s home planet — Twinsan, and Zilich — the alien planet. The gameplay includes fights with opponents, conversations with NPCs, searching for items necessary for completion, searching for money, health restorers and magical energy. Like the previous parts, the player controls Twinsen, one of the inhabitants of the planet Twinsan, who in the past saved his people from the evil dictator Fonfrog, and is now again called upon to save his world.
