This arcade action game with strategy and route-defense elements is set in the American West of 1885, where entrepreneur Dirigibaus has monopolized trade with a fleet of airships. The Tumbleweed Express, a steam engine thought to be obsolete, returns to compete with the monopolist and support the people left behind. The train is armed and ready to fight off attacks.
Across 12 levels, the player races to collect stars, controls combat from the caboose, and battles a range of enemies and bosses. The company warehouse lets players upgrade the train’s defenses and crew, while completing shipping contracts increases level difficulty. Mail collected along the way reveals more about the Tumbleweed Express.
