An arcade jet shooter based on the film Top Gun follows a new academy recruit tasked with confronting a hostile force encroaching on naval territory. Under the guidance of Maverick and Iceman, the pilot takes part in aerial combat in either a supersonic fighter jet or a stealth bomber.
Across ten missions, the player shoots down enemy aircraft with target-locking missiles and cannons, dodges air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles, and navigates aerial and ground obstacles. Missions take place over oceans, deserts, canyons, and city centers. Completing them can earn medals and achievements, while additional content can be unlocked.
