This first-person shooter, slasher, and horror game is set on an Earth where plants have taken the place of people who died or fled. The protagonist is a young tomato who earns money by destroying monsters, in a story involving vegetables, meat, and family values.
In Tomato Way, combat involves melee weapons, firearms, and Molotov cocktails, though a fork is often the weapon of choice. Levels have a nonlinear layout with passages and secrets, and some characters can be spoken to. Weapons and health can be bought, while the separate arena mode is a survival challenge without a story.
