Super Monaco GP — the game is a simulation of the Monaco Grand Prix, although the actual Monaco circuit is replaced by a fictional circuit that incorporates many features of the real circuit. Players must qualify for the Short Circuit Race before playing in the Main Race; Failure to complete a lap before the 45 second timer expires results in a game over. Performance on the practice lap will determine the player's starting position on the grid. The race then involves 19 computer-controlled racers and players must maintain a position above a limit that is counted down or the game ends. Completing a race in 3rd place or higher allows the player to race again in wet conditions.
