This arcade racer centers on teams competing for control of city districts. In Team Battle, victory is not determined by finishing position: racers must deplete their rivals’ Spirit Points, which fall when they hit walls or cars and when they lag behind. The map is divided into 15 areas, where teams compete for territory in individual races.
Victories earn points and increase team loyalty, while defeated riders can be recruited. Players choose opponents from a roster and climb the rankings as their team expands its influence. Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Subaru cars can be upgraded with new exhausts, paint jobs, and spoilers; stickers and lights alter their appearance. The Vs. mode offers one-on-one races.
