Star Wars: Republic Commando is a fast-paced first-person shooter set in the Star Wars universe. You have to try on the role of captain of an elite Commando squad. Together with your brothers in arms, you will go on dangerous missions on behalf of the Republic. You will be able to give various orders to your squad members, planning attack and defense tactics. Exciting futuristic battles, a well-thought-out command system and various multiplayer modes await you.

Star Wars: Republic Commando, пожалуй, является моей любимой игрой из всех. Это настоящий шедевр своего времени, в него было влито огромное количество сил, времени и денег на то время. Игра, к сожалению, не оправдала спроса, и это стало причиной конца данной серии, столь же трагично, как цветок, не успевший раскрыться полностью.
Сюжет в данной игре затягивает полностью с головой, геймплей тоже очень интересный. Атмосфера идеально раскрывает данную вселенную, хоть я и не являюсь её большим фанатом. Эта игра заставила меня пройти ее несколько раз, не сожалея об этом.
К сожалению, концовка игры неопределенная, сюжет не завершен, а потенциал коммандосов не раскрыт, но тем не менее этот пережиток прошлого стоит того, чтобы пройти его даже через столько лет.
