Star Command — is a simulation game in which players control a crew inside their spaceship. The crew can be expanded by players recruiting new members to perform various specialized roles such as scientists and security, and they can also be promoted to higher ranks. Various ship systems can also be upgraded. Crew members die permanently when killed. Successfully firing a ship's weapon involves a mini-game based on timing the buttons correctly. Players start the game on Beginner difficulty with an optional tutorial, and upon completion have additional difficulty levels of Normal, Hard, and then Black Hole.
