This word puzzle combines searching for letter combinations with strategic play: the player finds words on the board and swipes across them to remove their letters. New rows rise from the bottom as the game progresses, and the round ends if letters reach the top row. Longer words and bonus tiles can clear additional letters.
SpellTower has four modes. Tower mode challenges the player to score as highly as possible using a board of 150 letters, while each word found in Puzzle mode adds a new row. Extreme Puzzle raises the minimum word length, and in Rush mode rows build up over time, making quick word-finding essential. Each mode has its own leaderboard, and the game also tracks the highest-scoring word.
