Space Empires V is a turn-based space strategy game about building an empire across a large galaxy. The player explores star systems, settles planets and forms political alliances with other empires, while space battles play out in real time in a 3D environment.
Ships and other vehicle types can be designed and customized, then tested in tactical combat or a battle simulator. An extensive technology tree supports the empire’s development, and maps are randomly generated. The game also supports modifications, including customizable AI opponents.
