Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER is a cyberpunk adventure set in Neo-San Francisco in 2064, where telepath ES88 investigates the Golden Butterfly, a gifted psychic disrupting people through their subconscious minds. ES88 works for MINERVA, an organization specializing in neurotechnology and extrasensory projection phenomena.
Using the Neurodiver, ES88 searches the memories where the Butterfly is hiding. The Deep Dive mechanic lets her identify and alter details in memories and uncover information, but excessive interference can irreparably corrupt a target’s memory. The investigation also involves an unsolved case and has multiple endings.
