A turn-based tactical strategy set during World War II, in which players take part in campaigns as the Soviet Red Army, the German Wehrmacht, and the Western Allies. The battles span the advance to Stalingrad, the pushback of German forces, and the liberation of Europe.
Players can command more than 150 unit types and 30 officers. Terrain, weather, and seasons affect battles, while tactical mistakes can be exploited by the enemy.
