Painkiller is a dynamic horror shooter with a first-person view. The events of the game will tell the story of an ordinary man, Daniel Garner, who loses his wife and dies himself in a terrible car accident. 30 years later, the archangel Samael appears before his spirit and tells Daniel that he is stuck in Purgatory — a place between Heaven and Hell. And in order to go to his wife in Paradise, the main character must gently kill 4 of Lucifer’s generals.
