This action game with horror and fantasy elements follows samurai Samanosuke Akechi and French soldier Jacques Braun, who are swept into different eras by a mysterious vortex. In 1582, Samanosuke fights demons and prepares to confront Nobunaga Oda, while in 2004 Paris, Jacques faces Genma demons attacking the city.
After the time shift, Samanosuke finds himself in modern-day Paris and Jacques in feudal Japan. The two men must defend people from the demons and uncover the reason for their exchange of eras. The story centers on their fight against a common threat.
