This sports arcade centers on athletics and other challenges, including the 100-meter sprint, high jump, pole vault, javelin, and archery. In New International Track & Field, players control an athlete using the touch screen and stylus, and can choose individual events or a sporting career mode. The game features more than 20 challenges.
More than 15 characters take part, including Konami characters, and some have special challenge events. Athletes can be customized with costumes and other items. The microphone can be used to shout encouragement: the louder the sound, the greater the boost. Online tournaments and worldwide rankings are also available.
