A sandbox about designing and building warships, testing them, and taking them into naval combat. In NavalArt, the player acts as a designer and engineer, assembling ships from available parts, arranging armor and weapons, modifying existing designs, or building vessels from scratch. Each design can be put through trials, where its characteristics reflect the chosen components and their placement.
Quick Battles and Operations pit fleets against enemies in missions using weapons from different eras, including naval guns, torpedoes, aircraft, and missiles. A separate mode focuses on aircraft carrier command: the player configures squadrons, assigns specializations, and seeks air superiority. Gallery Mode lets players walk around ships and arrange a fleet for a parade.
