Monster Hunter Online — The user interface has been adapted to take advantage of mouse control: players can now simply click on an item in their inventory to use it, saving a bit of time and adding extra convenience. Reflecting Tencent's experience in MMORPGs, a hotbar has been added for both items and weapon skills, such as the charged longsword pierce attack shown here. Some new attacks have been added, such as the longsword's vanishing counterpunch seen in the same video.
Aesthetic changes, in addition to a general graphics update to take advantage of the CryEngine, include blood splatter on the environment and some changes to camera behavior and glow effects.
