This third-person fantasy action game follows Sir Daniel Fortesque, resurrected after the evil sorcerer Zarok returns to Gallowmere and raises an army of the undead. Though he was hailed as a hero in life, Daniel actually fell in the first wave of arrows; now he has a chance to stop Zarok and earn the fame he never had. In MediEvil: Resurrection, he travels through varied levels, fights using an array of weapons and combat moves, and solves puzzles.
The game also includes multiplayer mini-games. Hints are provided by the Voodoo Witch, and an in-game manual can be found in Daniel’s crypt.
