Set among the pyramids of ancient Egypt, this arcade puzzle game spans 88 levels. The player controls a winged scarab, firing at approaching magical spheres and destroying them with the help of power-ups such as Color Cloud, Net, Dagger and Lightning Storm.
Luxor 2 features three modes, including Survival and Practice, and four difficulty levels. The expert level unlocks the Challenge of Horus. Progress earns rewards and advances the player through ranks from Farm Hand to Pharaoh; the game also tracks statistics and offers bonus rounds at the end of stages.
