A survival horror role-playing game about a new homeowner in the shadowy town of Lakeview Valley, where everyone seems to have a secret. A dead girl lies in the street, and the player can investigate her confusing past or ignore the central mystery; moral choices shape the story and its multiple endings.
By day, the protagonist meets townspeople, each with a backstory and a daily schedule, and growing in popularity opens up more of their lives. Nights bring dangerous enemies, while the sheriff investigates incidents and looks for evidence. Items, tools, and upgrades help the player make progress, cause trouble, or renovate the home.
