Visão de cima
Um dos tipos de câmera em videogames é a visão de cima. Ela é muito parecida com a visão isométrica, mas um pouco diferente. Na visão de cima, os desenvolvedores não se esforçam para tornar o mundo volumoso e profundo. Tudo é representado ou em um espaço bidimensional, ou criam um pseudo "volume" a partir de várias camadas de espaços bidimensionais. Por exemplo, o personagem pode entrar em uma "casa" plana. Às vezes, a câmera está completamente vertical, e o jogador olha para o mundo plano de cima, como no primeiro jogo da série GTA. O zoom em tais jogos é aplicado muito raramente. Esse método pode ser utilizado em aventuras, jogos de RPG, corte e ataque, vença todos, estratégias e em muitos outros.
