A space action game with simulation elements, Battle of Sol is set in a future where humanity has left an Earth made uninhabitable and spread across the solar system. When people learn that the Sun is dying, the United Colonies of Sol are formed to find a new home beyond the doomed system. The player fights a mysterious enemy within the solar system and beyond.
The campaign spans 21 missions featuring capital ship battles, fighter dogfights, and raids on space stations. Missions can be flown in multiple ships, each with distinct handling and armament. Performance earns medals, and an editor lets players create and share custom missions.
