A fantasy role-playing strategy game with turn-based tactical combat and collectible cards, Etherlords II returns to the world of Ether. Its five campaigns follow a hero through nonlinear missions with multiple routes to completion. As the campaigns progress, the hero develops skills and gains access to new spells, creatures and abilities.
Battles draw on hundreds of spells and creatures, with new ones available to any of the four races. The game also supports online multiplayer battles across four modes, including Round Table, an elimination tournament played with random card sets. A tutorial covers both basic and advanced dueling tactics.
