Dungeon Keeper: The Deeper Dungeons — a group of Knights who somehow escaped your purge resurrected the Avatar. They have retaken many of the caves you didn't conquer and are reforming their army. You have to stop them from overthrowing your victory and ruling the kingdom. AI improvements include enemy Guardians selling their traps and doors when they are in dire need of gold. They are also more frugal and their ability to find gold has improved significantly. The artificial intelligence of creatures has also been improved.
Creatures no longer teleport to areas that their owner has not yet explored. Units that have lost their leader now choose a new one and continue their mission. There are also several new dungeon tilesets.
