A tactical action game in a science-fiction setting, Drone Swarm follows Captain Carter and the crew of the Argo as they search an unexplored galaxy for a new home for humanity. Earth has become uninhabitable after an alien attack, and the ship’s 32,000 drones are essential to the expedition.
In combat, the swarm attacks enemies while protecting the stationary mothership. Players choose a drone behavior—attack, defend, physical or energy—and draw paths for the drones to follow. They can form defensive walls, maneuver around shields, ram enemies into one another and use asteroids as weapons. After enemy waves, the swarm and mothership can be upgraded to counter changing threats and reach the next system.
