This hardcore survival game takes place in an open world where the protagonist has been stranded against their will and must find a way out. The world changes with the seasons and weather: rain can flood a shelter, while winter calls for supplies and a warm refuge. Its biomes are inhabited by dangerous creatures and others trapped in this world.
Starting from scratch, the player gathers food and tools, builds shelter, and crafts clothing, armor, and weapons. Preparing for seasonal changes and hostile enemies means exploring remote regions and caves. Escaping requires finding or summoning deadly creatures and defeating them.
