A 3D logic puzzle in the tradition of Minesweeper follows Max as he crosses minefields to reach the finish, while retired general Boris hides a dangerous acid vaccine at a secret base. The player must plot a safe route and avoid mines, swamps, gas clouds, bombers and ambushes in bunkers. Clearing every field is not required.
The campaign has 30 levels and four difficulty settings. Other options include an endless survival mode and randomly generated levels. Along the way, Max can collect grenades, med kits, helmets, body armor and money to buy equipment.
