Combat Mission: Shock Force — depicts fictional 2008 battles between the Syrian army and American Stryker brigades. The game features improved graphics and 3D modeling. The infantry simulation is a 1:1 representation where each soldier is depicted in a 3D world with custom animated graphics. The new engine also takes into account real-world lighting conditions and simulates the position of the sun and stars in the sky. The engine allows the game to be played in real time in addition to the established 60-second incremental format.
