This third-person action shooter follows Ramiro Cruz as he enters the criminal underworld of the Mexican city of Los Toros to avenge his father’s murder. He sets out to fight his way alone through the inner circles of local drug kingpin Cesar Morales’ cartel.
Ramiro uses a wide arsenal of weapons and gravity-defying special moves in gunfights. His enemies include mustached mercenaries, mutated super-Mamas, and exploding chickens. The action spans seven locations, from the trenches of a drug city to a dense jungle, with three difficulty settings and a multiplayer mode.

Chili Con Carnage é um pequeno (portátil) Total Overdose . É tudo igual: o herói, os personagens, mas com um enredo diferente e alternativo em comparação com Total Overdose , simplificado e até exagerado (mas isso é um detalhe menor). No entanto, há novos rostos e locais completamente novos. E o mais importante, o espírito e a essência do jogo original são preservados. É por isso que o amamos. Além disso, o lançamento de um jogo portátil é o passo certo para popularizar a série e expandir o universo dos jogos.
É uma pena que essas boas intenções nunca tenham se concretizado.
Chili Con Carnage — это маленькая (портативная) Total Overdose. Тут всё то же самое: герой, персонажи, но с иным альтернативным сюжетом, по сравнению с Total Overdose, упрощённым и даже утрированным (но это пустяк). Однако здесь и новые лица, и абсолютно новые локации. А главное — сохранился дух и драйв оригинальной игры. За это и любим. Да и потом, выход портативной игры — это правильный шаг в сторону популяризации серии и расширения игровой вселенной.
Как досадно, что этим благим намерениям так и не суждено стать явью.
