A visual novel about a romance between maids in mid-19th-century England. After losing her position at Hartwell, Lorina Waugh searches for work and arrives at the Bly estate, where she must toil for fourteen hours a day while enduring bullying from the senior maids and Lady Constance, the employer’s daughter.
The mysterious Taohua is one of the few servants who speaks kindly to Lorina. Taohua’s unusual appearance and aloof manner have inspired rumours that she might be a witch, even as Lorina tries to keep her distance. The story unfolds as a kinetic visual novel with no choices or branching, accompanied by detailed backgrounds, illustrations, and an original soundtrack.
