Area-51 — The player travels through several sections of the facility, including a warehouse and tunnels. The player character is tasked with fellow Special Tactical Advanced Alien Response (STAAR) members, Lieutenant Stephanie Grant and Sergeant Major Marcus Bradley, to infiltrate Area 51 and activate the nuclear self-destruct sequence. The player must defeat genetically modified zombie soldiers and aliens without harming any member of the allied STAAR team. If only three members of the STAAR team are shot, Kronn's Hunter mode is triggered, in which he takes on the role of a Hunter sent by Kronn to eliminate the rebels.

Area-51 — типичный шутер каких много. Можно поиграть, но сказать что игра очень крутая не могу! Изумительный геймплей и атмосфера! В то время когда она вышла я познакомился с таким фильмом как Обитель Зла. Игра Area-51 напоминает атмосферой именно этот фильм. Там тоже подземная база в которую вы спускаетесь со своим отрядом и как всегда что-то пошло не так. Да, графика для сегодняшнего времени не очень, но в данной игре главное это атмосфера!
Очень жаль что в игре вы только сначала бегаете со своим отрядом, потом ваши бойцы постепенно один за другим по сюжету дохнут и вы становитесь бойцом одиночкой, причем в последствии каким-то мутированным бойцом одиночкой. Лучше бы разработчики оставили в игре тему отряда.
