007: Tomorrow Never Dies — third-person shooter with stealth elements. MI6 agent James Bond is a playable character for most of the game, and Chinese agent Wai Lin is also playable in one level. The player can walk, run, sneak, sidestep, and roll. Throughout the game you can use various weapons, including sniper weapons. The game switches to first-person view when aiming a weapon.
Clips from the film are shown after each level to advance the story. The game features 10 levels, 2 of which include a skiing part. Another level is played primarily as a driving game where the player uses an armed car to destroy enemy vehicles.
