Inside the safe, there is a portable device and a small tracker. Playing from the first-person perspective, we notice that a cartridge is inserted into the port. Realizing it's our version of MiSide, the player carefully removes it, instantly ending the playthrough. Soon, we find ourselves in the main menu, where we can choose to start a new game or continue from a previously completed chapter.

This ending vividly conveys the hopelessness of the main character, who desperately hopes that this terrible nightmare will finally end. Although his consciousness is slowly being uploaded onto the cartridge through a special device, the ending hints that the first player was trapped in this virtual reality even before we began our journey. The situation creates a sense that his fate was predetermined long before we turned on the game, and he was already part of the simulation from which he could not escape.

To achieve this ending, several conditions must be met. First of all, you need to complete the main storyline in Misde, which becomes a sign that it is the true resolution for the main character. While the good ending is unlocked only on a second playthrough — either by creating a new save or by launching the chapter called "Together At Last".

To progress further, several conditions aimed at making Mita happy must be fulfilled. These requirements can be started in the 2D version of MiSide, where the main character immerses himself at the very beginning of the game. Most of the conditions are completed during interactions with Mita when you first find yourself in the simulation, spending time with her and making important decisions that affect the further course of events.
