Rumor: New AAA Castlevania Game in Development

According to the Portuguese portal Geekinout, a new part of the cult Castlevania may be in development. Presumably, it will be a big-budget project.
The last major game in the franchise was released back in 2014 — Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. Since then, Konami has not released anything significant, but according to Geekinout, the company intends to announce a new part this year. Mercury Steam, the studio that made the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow dilogy, is allegedly responsible for the development.
In December, an as-yet unconfirmed rumor also spread that Konami had launched production of a remake of Silent Hill 3. Its development could be entrusted to Bloober Team, the studio that released a successful remake of the second game. New details about the setting of the next part of God of War have also emerged.
