In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, there are many side quests, and not all of them are marked on the map. The first such quest will be "The Cabbage Thief." In this guide, we'll tell you how to complete it and earn a decent amount of money by doing almost nothing.
As soon as you gain access to the open world, talk to the local steward named Drozd. He will tell you that the peasants have been losing cabbage, but the reason is unclear.
On the map, you will receive a mark of the thief's last victim. Head south to the grocer and talk to him. The cabbage has indeed disappeared from a nearby garden.
The cabbage field will be slightly south of the grocer's house. Look around and you will see cabbages on the path. You need to follow the trail of cabbage to find the thief. This is not easy, as the cabbages may be scattered far apart, complicating the search.
Eventually, you should reach the Nebakov Fortress, and then, if you look at the map, move left along the river. Be sure to be on the same side as the fortress. As soon as you see one of the streams turning down (south), follow it. There you will find a path. Eventually, you will see rocks and a cart with cabbages. A path goes up, and there you will find a camp. A mark "Cabbage Cave" will appear on the map. In the camp sits the cabbage thief Pepe.
Pepe is a non-confrontational and not very smart lover of sauerkraut. He steals to then sell his own goods. If you don't turn him in, you can bring cabbage to the peasant and get a temporary buff, but there is a better option.
Tell him you will turn him in to Drozd — the one who gave you the quest in the first village. Pepe will obediently agree to wait for justice on the spot. Returning to Drozd, tell him about your discovery. As a reward, Henry will receive 789 groschen, which is an astronomical sum for the beginning of the playthrough. There is no point in killing Pepe.
