Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the role-playing game from the Czech studio Warhorse Studios. The first part received numerous positive reviews from players and critics, as well as recognition for its historical accuracy and deep storyline. In the second part of the game, you will find a huge open world. In this guide, we have prepared an in-game map of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 features two large regions, Trosky and Kuttenberg.
At the very beginning of the game, the story unfolds in a region called Trosky. Here you start your adventure with the quest Light Riders and continue until the quest Storm. The open world becomes accessible with the quest Wedding Crashers, except for Trosky Castle, which can only be visited after completing the quest For Whom the Bell Tolls.
The Kuttenberg region opens to players with the quest Sword and Quill and remains accessible until the end of the game. After completing the main quests, you will be able to freely explore both regions.
Note: When you reach Kuttenberg, you will have the opportunity to fast travel between the Trosky and Kuttenberg regions. To do this, use the stagecoach marked on the map with a red carriage icon. A trip in either direction will cost you 200 groschen.
The Kuttenberg region significantly exceeds Trosky in size, being about one and a half times larger. It is home to many villages, and the city of Kuttenberg itself is the largest settlement in the game. To unlock the map, players need to explore the area themselves, gradually clearing away the clouds as they progress.
Fully exploring the Trosky map on horseback will take about an hour, while for Kuttenberg, it will take approximately twice as long. During exploration, it is important to save often and exit to the menu, as there is no autosave in free mode. In case of the character's death, progress will be rolled back to the last save.
The fast travel feature is available to any location marked on the map with a blue shield icon, but only if you are in an open area. Inside buildings, this option is not available.
